Inspired by the Val de Loire. The bushvines look like ancient little trees, struggling for up to fifty years on a dryland West-facing slope on the Paardeberg (Swartland). The extreme low yield ensures rich flavours and the mineral-rich soils adds a fresh note to the wine for a perfect balance. This is a food wine like few others.
Tasting notes: Fresh gooseberry, chamomile and lime on the nose followed by granadilla and marmalade with a smooth, rich texture. The aftertaste shows butterscotch, apricot and minerals.
